I'm 21 and already my hairline has receded almost to where my ears are, it's starting to thin on top leaving an island
Buzzed it a few weeks ago, great decision, i now don't spend the majority of my time in public worrying about whether my hair looks shit because now i know it looks fine, i've had loads of compliments too and luckily i have a skull shape which suits shorter hair
as soon as it gets too thin on top, i'm just gonna go jason statham style and keep it like that, i'm not in shape enough yet to be confident enough to pull off the shaved bald but i will be in probably 8 months or so
oh and btw i have gyno and i'm 5'8"

Went to a derm about my hairloss. I've got early signs of MBP, apparently. I can definitely see the hairline recession.
He gave me two options: Rogaine and Propecia. Apparently the only two options available.
I've read too many horror stories about Rogaine and hair just falling out and never growing back, or zero results. And Propecia kills your sex life.
I think it might just be better to watch my hair slowly fall out over the years and accept it.

Been on finasteride for five years. I got in a bit late I didnt realise I had been balding since my early 20's and only caught it in my last 20's. But it has pretty much come to a complete stop now.

I'm following my dad and grandfather. My dad started receding at 18 and still has a NW2 at age 47, but the hair is see-through under a strong light. My granddad is 75 and combs the thin hair on top sideways and it looks okay considering it is completely white.
My maternal grandfather is 61 with a Nw1 hairline and a biggish bald spot that started when he 20. I have no thinning crown yet, but my hairline is about a NW1.5 at 22. It doesn't really bother me because both of my genetics indicate slow balding. As long as I keep my hair through my 30's I'll be okay.

started loosing my hair around my 15th.
From then on it was pretty much male pattern baldness setting in.
In the beginning I covered it up which gave me a lot of stress, wondering if it showed and I hated wind and rain.
Then at some point I bought clippers and buzz cut my hair.
It lifted a weight of my shoulders man. You never have to worry how your hair looks.
I do get the occasional comment about my baldness but that is mostly from men, never had complaints from woman,
