It's a far cry from plastic surgery, but I've been contemplating getting Invisalign. I used to have fixed braces (free) but things didn't go well with the retainer and they've ended up being misaligned, so I want to get it done again. It can usually take 12 months for an average adult to have them straightened by wearing it for 22 hours a day, but I don't think it should take that long for me. It's also somewhere between £2,000-£4,000 apparently, but possibly £1,500 if they're not that bad. Ugh.
Also, going to try whitening my own teeth. They're not bad at the moment, but I just want whiter teeth. It usually costs about £300 for whitening treatment at a dentist and lasts for about 1-2 years, and you can do it for 6-8 months yourself for about £40. Works out cheaper.
I've also been considering getting a dermastamp treatment on my face to remove chicken pox scarring from when I was a kid. It's about £300 as well, and there's three treatments. They essentially shove a 6mm collection of needles into the scarred tissue to make it bleed and encourage cell growth. However, nothing can remove scars, only reduce the visibility, and even then it's not guaranteed. It's not bad enough to warrant CO2 laser surgery though (which tends to be for severe scarring and can cost £1,000 and upwards).
