I'm 25, love whisky but just can't enjoy beer. It's okay to drink, sure, but liking it the same way as with a good drink or great food? Just can't.
Most people I've discussed this with are either inclined to agree, often argue that "beer is an aquired taste", "goes good with food" etc which all implies that it just isnt that good of a drink on its own.
The others who LOVE beer are always fat and addicted to carbs/alcohol and drink it erryday like a true addict.
I just have a hard time finding anyone who loved beer from the start, most just seem to have forced themselves into it and/or became addicted to the substances in it.

Why is it so hard to believe that people like beer? I'm fit and healthy and i don't drink regularly. When I go to the pub to have a few drinks, I chose beer over anything else mate. Most of the time i dont drink it with a meal. I love how refreshing it is, i love the taste, i love the smell (I'm talking about average, decently-priced beer, not absolute cheap shit). Accept that there are sensible people out there who enjoy it
i fucking hate these things so much but i love the taste.
