So it turns out that I have low B12 despite eating tons of animal proteins.
Have you guys ever gotten B12 injections? How did you feel afterwards?
How did you find out you have low B12 anon?

I moved to a province where doctors give a shit, apparently.
I've had symptoms that can be explained by a B12 deficiency for over a decade and only now did a doctor bother to fucking look at it.
Yes. I'm mad.

Previous housemate started getting them monthly at about 50. Reckoned he felt amazing for a fortnight then it wore off slowly until the next one. He got his gf on it too, despite her being like 26 or something with no actual deficiency, and she felt better too.

I was paying fucking 30% of my income in income tax alone and doctors didn't think to do a stupid fucking blood test.
Y'all niggas south of the 49th get shit-talked a lot for your health care, but at least it's better than Quebec. Fuck that province.

What kind of animal proteins do you eat. About what percentage of your calories comes from dead animals?
don't they inject b12 into the animals? why not just take it directly instead of getting it through the animal?

Lots of chicken, anchovies, eggs, yogurt, kefir, etc.
My system doesn't process fiber and certain plant proteins, so I consume more animal proteins than typical.

It's a malabsorption issue. I could eat an entire bottle of B12 supplements and my body won't be able to actually absorb it.

This
So fucking this. I felt like a ninja on cocaine when I took B12. It wears off but still.

Cool.
I'm hoping it'll help with me getting my body fat below 18%. Getting it there from 25% wasn't too bad, but that last bit has been difficult.

I don't know about that but you will see a good increase in energy at least. The rest is diet.

Yeah. I lost about 75 lbs with a caloric deficit (no real exercise, had a busted ankle for most of it).
