I was around 42kg and I bulked up to 47kg with GOMAD, and I must say I look WAY better now (I now actually have a butt and legs). Though I have lost around 2kg recently...

I did it. But result may vary between non natty bulk and natty bulk. Since I'm not natty I was able to gain 15lbs of mass pretty quick on bulk, but when I was natty and bulked it worked too so if you're looking to get mass I recommend it.

Beginners and permanent fatties shouldn't even be thinking in cycles. The human physiology much more complex than the sticky implies, "you can't get stronger on a deficit" is a very harmful meme perpetuated by morons.

Women who "bulk" eat 200-300 calories over maintenance for a year straight. Guys can eat at a 500-700 calorie surplus and get stronk as fuck but you will end up very fat if you try this

I """bulked""" for like 3 years. Not intentionally, but I just hit the gym about 4 times a week and pretty much ate what I felt like. My general diet is pretty healthy and I don't eat crap on daily basis or binge, so it was more like I tried to get in as much protein as possible and if I felt like eating some cake, I took some cake. (not an entire cake though.)

I did this for little over 3 years and it was good. My life was pretty hectic cause of school and I didn't have such knowledge on fitness/dieting/nutrition/training as I do nowadays.

I probably ate pretty much according my TDEE or a bit over, and in 3 years I had gained 10kg. (weighing 70kg, 5'7 tall.) Nothing drastic and same clothes fit me still. Now I'm cutting atm and I'm down to 66kg at the moment. I think 62kg will be pretty ideal, I still got tits, my hightest ass but I can already see my abs a little bit.

Earlier today at the gym I realized, that without really eating properly for the last years I wouldn't have this glorious ass. The muscle ain't growing with holy spirit and I see that a lot at gym, that women are fit but not muscular really cause they keep their calorie intake low all the time. But on the other end of the scale there are those who bulk too drastically and quick and just end up being chubby. I don't think that that serves anyone's progression really.

TLDR; just eat properly and don't starve yourself and there should be a good balance naturally and also some sweet gains. Train hard, sleep a lot, eat well and right and you'll be good. At least if you wanna gain some actual muscle, which ain't easy as a woman anyways.

I use to work a out a bunch and was just skinny, then I gained a bunch of weight and now I'm a chubby girl. I hate it but I want to have curves. If I just start cutting calories and doing cardio with minimal weight training I am scared I'll just go back to being skinny and curveless. Recommendations? Hijacking thread for semi-related topic. I started lifting heavy and exercising regularly about 5ish months ago, I was already lower end of average weight at the time so it's not like I started overweight, just severely skinnyfat. I don't have a good measure of bf% but it was visibly very high for my relatively low weight, almost no muscle just all fat due to poor eating habits. Now I've been exercising and I still eat at a moderate calorie deficit most the time, I'm afraid of getting fat.

Here's the thing, I'm getting all the wrong changes in my body. Lost what little fat I had in my tits/ass, like they're both COMPLETELY flat now, and my ass is somehow saggier and worse shaped. I work glutes 2x a week and incorporate glute-centric exercises like donkey kicks, weighted bridge, weighted hip thrust etc on top of normal shit like squats and deads. My lifts are progressing but my ass is looking worse and worse by the day. Each cheek is literally like a perfect square now, it's disgusting. Meanwhile, my biceps/quads grew and idk, it's kinda unattractive because nothing else did and I just look weird. I'd look like an honest to god trap (not passing either) if I didn't have a high waist to hip ratio. Will eating more/"bulking" help this issue at all? Should I go back to cardio only? I can't believe I put in so much effort and look so much worse.
