8 days ago i did too many sets/reps of deadlift. i broke a PR while going the same amount of reps (5) with a higher weight - which was fucking stupid of me.
my lower back still is a bit fucked, are there any recommended stretches i can do at home while i cry that i have no gains?

Did the same exact thing. Been foam rolling ass and legs. Dont recommend foam rolling back. Still bothers me sometimes though.
kinda related to this problem, I injured myself over a car accident a year ago and doctors told me I had herniated a couple lower back discs. Is it safe for me to squat like I used to?

YES! i actually fucking foam rolled my lower back intensively after deadlifting intensively. not the best idea, i think that's the cause of my 'injury'

I have the pain in the exact same spot as the picture. What helps is releasing tension by lying on a tennis ball, but be carefull. Also, foamrolling the glutes and the it band helps.
