I am fifty pounds overweight. The new routine I started is:

>5 minutes of arm reps with a 35 pound weight.
>No milk, no sweet foods.
>Portion control, eating everything off tiny plates.

7days per week. What sort of results should I expect?

All in a day's work. As far as the stair machine though? I'm trying to fit in my wedding suit. Tree trunk legs aren't going to help me much. Will that be the result probably, or a stair stepper doesn't cause that many gains in leg muscles?

I should have been more specific. I'm asking about steppers/stairmasters specifically. Anyone who has experience with them. Did they just tone and give cardio, or did they end up with tree trunk legs.
