Started flaring my elbows. I have very long humeri and I would over tuck my elbows causing my elbows not to be vertical and I would have to bring the bar waaay to low.
Basically I was literally not using my pecs at all while benching.

Don't feel like finding a before pic but I was a fatty throught middle and highschool. Dropped all my weight in 2015 100+ pounds. Started at "bulk" to put on some muscle and hopefully help with the skin problem when I cut back down in a few months
And te lifting makes the loose skin look worse than it is lol

I said beltless breh, squatting without a belt is fucking stupid.
You cannot optimally stabilize your spine without a belt.
A belt does not "keep everything tight", breathing horizontally, IE expanding your diaphragm against a belt(worn looser then you think and higher up) so that you create a force vector to your lumbar spine.
Pic related is a diagram of how the diaphragm when you, create a proper seal, expands against the pelvic floor and then stabilizes the spine. When you wear a belt, you are able to flex against the belt, causing more intra-abdominal pressure, and greater flexion of the core, not less.
You wear the belt higher, and angled, so that it's force vector is complimentary to the one caused by pressing against the pelvic floor.
Also I said 385 because i never try squatting beltless, im sure I could squat more beltless if i wanted, but thats fucking stupid.
