Post your weightlifting belt!

right now i have a shitty tapered harbringer (thicker back then front), cheap 20$, but i just ordered a red inzer lever belt, the expensive quality belts, really excited but i heard it takes long as fuck to ship.

How shitty is this one?
>>
>>35452147
its pretty bad, i saw that one before, man when your looking for a belt you want a nice good sturdy one, the ones with the bigger backs are useless, thats not even what the belt is for.

im going to assume you do know what there for but if not i can explain it to you what they do, the reason i ordered this inzer is because it is pretty much renowned as the best weightlifting belt, its high quality, you really cant go wrong with it if your serious about building strength and mass in the long run. strength=mass.

it is pricey tho, 105$ total when you count in shipping, 100% worth it though.
>>
I have a lever belt without any markings to tell the brand that I got from an old school guy I worked with and a cardillo suede 2 prong that I got from ebay. I prefer the cardillo.
>>
>>35452120
I got the same kind but in forest green. It took 1 month to ship. Dont get the lever belt; you have to unscrew the fucker every time you want to move the prongs; get the other version

I work at a gym.

People leave their belts behind all the time, so I have a wardrobe of belts to choose from. I have no clue how/why they haven't came back to reclaim their belts ever. None are Inzers, but all good quality.
>>
Waiting 2 weeks now for Inzer to ship my belt
>>
>>35452321
i had trouble choosing colors, was gonna go royal blue orange or red. just went with red. i didnt want black even tho it would ship a lot quicker, if im payin 100$ for a good belt i want a nice color i like you know? too late already ordered, i like how it looks compared to the buckle one. you shouldnt have to be unscrewing it man just find the size thats good for you bro,

how is it holding up now? did u use shittier belts before it and if so whats the difference.

Its a pain and I regret it.

I'm pretty sure you can cancel and reorder. I'm just telling you that having the luxery of changing it is nice. Sometimes you're bloated and you gotta bust the screwdriver out to change the bolts.

The belt is really thick compared to shitter belts. It feels like it supports you.
>>
>>35452546
yea i hear a lot of people saying that. my current belt is like flimsy man, doing dl's in it didnt feel the best but it was a lot better then no belt. im really excited to get the inzer but waiting is gonna be a pain in the dick. also i got a standard 10mm

When your lifts go over 300lbs
>>
>>35452774
start whenever it doesnt matter. the people saying you need to hit x amount on squats or deads before using it are wrong. you use it when you need it, if someone is extremely weak and shake on say 135 dead, a belt will stabilize you and allowing you to lift the load better and prob quicker.

dont get a shitty 20-30$ belt, price really matters in this sort of thing. you wanna invest ur money into something that is gonna last and good. i've heard a lot of fucking people say its the difference between night and day between a say harbringer to a inzer belt.

curiosity what are your lifts
>>
>>35452774

Around 1 plate at dl
>>
>>35452778
really man lol, how is it did you have other belts before that? like the shitty 20$ ones. how are you likin it and how long did it take for you to get it.
>>
>>35452682
My Prime Cut felt better when I got it than my buddy's Inzer does after two years.

>>35452774
Whenever you want. There's no real answer for that, and people make a mountain out of a molehill on both sides.
>>
>>35452793
just hit 4 plate DL 1rm, 3plate for 5-8 reps depending on how I feel that day and if my hands hold out.
I can hit 295 on squats.

I am more interested in keepign my back safe because I'm 35 and getting sore sometimes easily.
>>
>>35452774
I don't believe it has anything to do with what weight you pull. Rather, how good is your form without the belt. If you squat without doing a good morning and don't deadlift like a fucking cat go ahead and get a nice belt
>>
just bought an Inzer lever belt. can anyone confirm if theyre good or not? pretty pumped to get it in and try it out.
>>
>>35452820
yea my lifts are less then yours and i use the belt. go for it dude dont have second thoughts. get a good one though and you'll probably be in love. you feel a lot more supported and stable. my back would always kinda hurt or get stiff or i'd pinch my sciatic nerve when i would dl heavier, since the belt i added some weight and my back felt good even after i was done the set.
i know its a form issue too but im working on that. belt is very bueno
>>
>>35452843
yes man if you have seen youtube reviews or just read them in general inzer is like in the top 2 best lifting belts, i'd say fuck there even the best. have fun waiting tho they take like 1-2months from when you order it.
>>
I don't own one yet. I don't DL more than 250 so why should I get one?
>>
>>35452910
belt generally allow you to lift more weight. lifting more weight exposes your body to well more weight. you get stronger by using a belt.

to the idiots that say "yea have fun having no core strength" are fucking idiots and dont listen to them please. people that say that are fucking parrots that pass shit they hear on to the next
>>
Which color for the inzer belt? Gold, orange, or rust?
>>
What belts are allowed in power lifting comps? Which would you recommend?
6'4" if that makes a difference

implying you'd be able to snatch with one of these
baka
>>
>>35453065
inzer 10mm is allowed. its a good belt. lever or buckle its preference.
>>35453060
i was thinking between orange and gold too but i just got red. i'd go with orange tho.
>>
>>35452873
fuck that sucks. I just ordered mine 2 weeks ago and they charged my card yesterday. Bought black, and I heard they don't take as long a colored.
>>
>>35453154
i ordered mine today, if im gettin a quality belt like this i want a color that i'll like so ill wait the extra time. you'll prob get it in like 1-2 weeks since u got black. its gonna blow waitin 2 fuckin months for a colored tho.

its cause they got a bunch of black already made and colored arent stocked, they make em for people that order the color.
>>
>>35452120
took them a month and a half to ship mine.
hurts like hell for a while starts to 'mold' to your size and is the most comfortable things ive ever used.

>>
Inzer is pretty much the pinnacle of belts. If you're going directly through inzer their customer service is terrible and it took me like 8 weeks to get the belt to australia but it was worth it.

I got the 10mm lever which is a pretty good all rounder. Lever/prong is just personal preference. There's no set weight for when you need a belt, I'll normally go without it for most of my warmups and put it on for the last 2 before my working sets.

I just use it for squats and deads though.

It gives you strenght while using the belt, but you loose alot of it when you dont. Thats why its stupid to use it in the first place.

When always training with a belt your train your "belt strenght". If you do it beltless you are going to have a much stronger beltless lift.

This thing is obscenely thick

Got it for Christmas and it was so stiff I couldn't get it off on my own; had to spend a few days just bending it while watching TV before I could get it on/off easily
>>
>>35456346
Im the OP i was originally gonna order this but i decided pretty much last minute to get the inzer instead, cause of logos and other shit and i saw some guy brandon campbell review his inzer and i fell in love with it. So decided to order, cant wait to get it the waits gonna blow but that belt is high quality, inzer is best and lever inzer is fuckin badass man, you flick it on durin ur sets and just snap off when not, really convient. Plus its badass lookin

And yea there a bitch to break in, people say to roll them up and shit to help break it in etc

I know inzeris far and above them but I wanna start light

Sweet "everyone knows". Awesome argument.
>>
>>35461889
get an inzer you wont regret it, youll need it later on too if your serious about getting stronger and staying injury free. 20$ belts are shit dont bother, schieks 50$ foam plastic belts are retarded dont even bother man lmfao get an inzer or a heavy duty belt like an inzer.

My lower back and (somewhat) hips have been bothering me after doing squats and deadlifts.

I took 3 weeks off and it felt fine, but It started to come back recently. I've really tried paying attention to form and moving slow and I'm not sure what's causing it. I think it partially may be that I'm not lowering my deadlifts properly but I don't think that's the main reason.

Would a belt help or should I try to fix the problem before getting one?

And when I saw lower back I mean right above my ass crack, not higher up.
>>
>>35462092
i get this too i'd like to know what it is, i got a belt and its not as bad anymore, barely there.
>>
10mm single prong inzer master race reporting in. Lever belts are a meme and the only people who use them are trendy hipsters that also happen to pull sumo.
>>
>>35462263
fag prong, sucks ya gotta undo it everytime your done your set faggot, unless you dont want to breath which you might aswell to kill yourself.

lever is flick on durin set to get nice and tight, you can get tighter with lever if thats what you want to do, compared to prong. and then you can unflick it when your done your set without having to constantly readjust, and it looks 10x better then your gay-prong.
>>
>>35462092
You have a form problem. Belts don't fix form problems.
>>
>>35462791
is it best to take time off until it goes away or just do lower weights and keep an eye on form?
>>
Should I get a single prong or a double prong belt?

I don't want to get a lever belt because I wear belts looser for deadlifts than I do for squats. I don't want to have to take a screwdriver to my belt every time I switch between lifts.
>>
>>35463960

Single. Double prongs give slightly more supposed but they're an incredible pain to get in and out of.
