I ofteb had to choose between friends and gym. Guess who won my friends. I can always add 30mins of cardio if i went out drinking.
Remember don't let the gym be your only thing. Just join a sportsclub in your town and make some friends. Talk to them if you aren't a complete retard they will help you making friends.

That's so much bullshit. If anything it's the other way around. It's easier to get pussy, that may be right, but friends? No way. Chances are people will feel intimated, or think you are some douchebag. The most popular people I know were actually fatties who kept this cloud of casual friends around them all the time. They don't go to the loo without taking three friends with them. In the end it's always about having social skills, looks are not directly connected to that. Sure, you can get some confidence with working out etc, good for you. But it doesn't happen to everyone. Everything that changed for me is that my shirts got kind of tight and I masturbate once a day instead of twice.
