My grandfather won a purple heart for the korean war and was awarded in New York.. I don't want to be like him, tho. he was a full on alcoholic.. who could blame the dude, tho. one of the first to ever receive open heart surgery, was shot up with a machine gun in korea, stab with a bayonet, and saw his buddy killed in front of him.. he killed lots of damn chinks too.. he always told me never, EVER to join the army. He told me that every night.
