I know alot of people in their early 30's that smoke pot occasionally. The real differentiating factor is they aren't babbling shit like "dude weed is like my medicine bro", or "lmao when I smoke I get motivated to do mundane shit because I'm such a fuckup I can't function without rewarding myself." They also don't say shit like "partake in a bowl" like some sort of 19th century pot gentleman.

I smoke just a little weed before working out. I seem to have a more precise mind-muscle connection after one or two tokes. Feels like I can activate more muscles in my workouts and squeeze out more reps. Then smoke some more to fully enjoy my post workout meal.

it's also possible to experience behavioral/cognitive changes without a "high"

I train BJJ and used to smoke weed before going to class. I don't do it anymore much these days because I don't really want to get caught. I can freeroll pretty good if I'm stoned but listening to the coach and trying to be taught techniques is a bit troublesome for me I find.

No, there is definitely an increased mind-muscle connection when you're high. I usually only notice it at low-moderate levels of high, not when I'm blazed.
Kind of like a hordenine+PEA combo. You can just feel your muscles so much clearer and coordinate them better.

I occasionally smoke weed before I workout and I absolutely love it. The mind-muscle connection is simply way more intense than regular lifting, atleast for me. All my recent PRs have been while I was high, because I simply feel more capable and focused after having smoked a joint before my workout. It also depends on the strain in my experience, I much prefer working out on a nice sativa-dominated hybrid.
It varies depending on the person though, most of my friends dislike working out while high because they can't seem to focus, so you'l just have to experiment with it yourself to find out whether or not it's a good choice for you.

That has definitely happened to me and I've recently smoked right before my workouts more often than not. But there are no guarantees so I will keep an eye on it and definitely not do it every time. Don't want to end up too lazy to work out sober.

Yup, it's like this. Sometimes I get distracted by irrelevant shit but for the most part I work out harder than I would sober.
I don't smoke before lifting, usually. I love that glorious post-workout bowl though.
