So there's a fuck load of videos/articles/books out there on form for the big 3 compound lifts and some of it can be contradicting. My questions is what does /fit/ consider to be the best resource for learning to execute perfect technique on the squat/bench/deadlift?

Alan Thrall's videos are spectacular

Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe.
Don't listen to the diet advice, there are better resources for that. For learning proper form, though, it's honestly the best book to read.
You can find a pdf online easily enough.

Check out videos by either Jonnie Candito or Alan Thrall both do an excellent job describing and breaking down correct form.

>Doesnt know how to do a lift
>goes to the gym without any reserch
>practices said lift with shit form
>Bad habits develop
>wonders why his lifts are stalling
>comes to /fit/

Reading a bunch of different sources, browsing lifting forums, and experimenting with form and lifting consistently for years.
ELLIOTT HULSE AND CANDITO

Name a couple.
Squat rx is pretty good (on jewtube) for squats. That Justin video is great for ohp. So you think you can bench and then some candito for your deads.

In my case, I did a session with a trainer. Watching videos online doesn't cut it for learning good form IMO. You need a person there that knows what they are doing to tell you, more of this, less of that, etc.
