Who are your two biggest inspirations, /fit/?
Mine are these
Muhammad Ali inspired me to get into sports and lifting, and showed me that you can become excellent in your field if you just persevere
Owen Cook made me understand that you can break out of your social barriers and take full control of your life
Both changed me forever
Owenn's kind of a huge faggot but his advice is sound. He helped me when I was a beta bitch.
the pua mystery

Is Owen's stuff actually any good? I read The Game but felt the whole PUA scene was real cringey and a bit rapey and very culture-centric to the USA.
I'm gonna be reading Models soon, any good?
>>35426206
Yes, he's one of the few in PUA who, along with Mark Manson, focuses 100% on learning everything in a healthy way
He won't tell you to say cheesy pickup lines or only go for supermodels, he will work on your core confidence and make you the best you.
That said, I never got the hate of the PUA-scene anyway. Most of it is quite laidback, at least RSD
>>35426225
It's life-changing if you sit down and actually understand it
>>35426225
I read Models and thought it was great. It's not classic PUA but a great foundation to start from if you're mentally the classic AFC
>>35426225
Models is a book very centered on men trying to form an emotional connection and intelligent relationships with women
It's meant for slightly older, or at least more mentally mature, people than most other PUA books.
Read it and try some of the ideas out, but I don't think you're going to understand the whole "vulnerability" thing if you're not at that certain point in your life right now

owen cook is amazing, he actually discusses the book in one of his vids. he tells that the book is a novel so there had to be some sort of 'villain' in the book. so style made him look like that. he and style are chill now tho
also he doesn't teach the 'pua' stuff. he teaches u to get out of your head and express your natural self, no pickup lines or anything like that
He made me proud of being white again. He showed that there is hope to uncuck the west and that one day, the time of tumblr, liberalism and mass migration are over. God bless America. God bless Donald Trump
>>35426261
Not that guy but I read the book and didn't get it. Please enlighten me on the vulnerability part.
Trump is a disgusting deathfat who inherited his money and still managed to lose subtantial amounts of it in his businesses.

opening up your natural self to the world is vulnerable but also immensely powerfull for connecting to people and affecting the world around you

TL;DR: Fake it till you make it. Find a role model to emulate and act like he would in most situations.
As for books, No More Mr. Nice Guy for starters, then move on to Models, then Conquer your Campus if your still in school

>become excellent if persevere
>implying he became great despite the odds
what in the fuck are you talking about, guy? Muhammad Ali was a natural boxer. He was tearing shit up from the first time he got in the ring as a young'n. On top of that, he had about 4 or more inches of height (and the ever so important for boxing reach) on most of his opponents. I'm not saying he wasn't a great boxer but he definitely wasn't by any means at a disadvantage.
