I'm fairly new to fit
Is there a general consensus on the best diet for cutting?
1.keto
2.low carbs
3.carb cycling
4.balanced diet (only calorie deficit matters)
starve
Keto is easiest and quickest before going full dnp. Also has very good impact on mood, stress, and energy levels.
Your milage may vary.
At the end of the day, it's calories in vs calories out.
HOWEVER, a low carb, high protein diet, such as atkins, tends to easier to sustain. Probably because protein satiates your hunger faster.
Intermittent fasting with an EC stack
90% of my lean body mass in pounds in grams of COMPLETE protein per day minimum.
Natural carbs and sugars on lift days with less carbs on rest days. 700 calorie deficit. Hit micros twice a week. HIIT (I just bike 5 miles/20minutes after weightlifting keeping around 150 HR)

as in you'll feel like a carb depleted zombie with brain fog, mood swings, a cold and interupted sleep patterns due to heightened cortisol levels
nice try, keto troll
the keto diet is a last resort diet for epileptic children who are either too young or non responsive to conventional drug treatment
it's fitting that something crazy like this will take a foothold in a OCD subculture like fitness, but it needs to be said loud and clear that this is neither a good nor a healthy way to lose weight
<100g carbs, >2×bw in kg protein, 1×bw fat works for me

I lost like 70 lbs on keto with no issues at all, I felt great the whole time what are you talking about you dumb fuck, you're supposed to carb up on a specific day to give you energy for the next week.

If you're carbing up, you're not doing a regular keto diet.
