I shower at home because I live 2 min away from my gym and have a jacuzzi I like to chill in while chatting up qties on ma phone.
If I'd shower at the gym I'd take a clean set of clothes with me + flip flops.
I don't have a gym bag... I wear my gym clothes to the gym and change when I get home. I notice people giving me strange looks though... It's just so much easier and comfortable to do it at home...

Chucks or basketball shoes(the raised heel on these is pretty good for squats, and they're pretty comfy and flexible enough for oly lifts and other explosive movements), deodorant, shorts and a t-shirt.

My routine is basically wake up and breakfast > shower > gym > shower > work (home) > bike or run > shower > socialize > fuck some qtie > shower > sleep. Now that I look at this I might have some kind of showering paranoia going on but hey I smell nice. Also my skin is OK so no real issue I guess.
I understand if you lift before class or work you want to shower first, guess it depends on your daily routine.

Towel, keys, wallet, post-workout white t shirt, lifting gloves (hardly used because gloves are for pussies).
I leave my phone in the car because I'm not a 12 year old girl with ADD that needs to check Facebook between sets.

I have a dedicated pair of gym shoes that will only see the inside of the gym.
At home, I have a pair of Birkenstocks. You can wear them outside, but these are indoor only. I like them because they're easy to slip on and I can go with or without socks. I don't like wearing socks or bare feet on the carpet because it feels dirty and I don't like going to bed with dirty feet.
