Being kinda fat really has no effect on your life if you're still active. Like a powerlifter or something who's around 20% is probably still totally fine.

But I assume it's one of the worst things ever if you're not an athlete.

Was fat until age 22. It really sucks mate, at some point I started asking myself why I spent my teen years being a fat fuck. Literally makes you enjoy life less.

When the zombie apocalypse comes (and trust me, it IS coming) you will be the first one eaten.

Let me tell you what being fat does

I have always been fat. Currently sitting around 215 at 6'2 and I lift heavy, but I am still overweight by quite a bit. At my heaviest, I was 275. I just turned 25.

Being 275 pounds is a fucking nightmare. Sleeping is uncomfortable, walking around is uncomfortable, doing anything active fucking sucks, especially when you have fit friends.

It affected every aspect of my life. Sex wasn't as fun. Hiking wasn't as fun. Work was harder. I was tired all of the time. I felt like shit because I ate like shit, and I ate like shit because I felt like shit.

I can't imagine what my life would have been like if I had kept going on with that lifestyle, gaining 5 or 10 pounds every year until I was middle aged.

Have you seen those men who are 300+ walking around with their 250 pound wife and little ham children? Do you think they enjoy their lives?

Extra fat weighs you down. It compresses your internal organs. It also contributes to insulin resistance.
