And I can guarantee they had different options for men and for women. The women probably all had flabby, unattractive options and picked the best from a bad bunch.

There's a ton of problems with this study. Let me see if I can break them down.
1) What woman say that want, and say are truths for them, are often not what they want and not truths for them. Any man with enough experience can attest to this.
2) Women seek handsome faces over handsome bodies. Sorry fit, but this is well documented
3) In shape or out of shape, women DO seek the V ration of broad shoulders, thick arms and a narrow waste. This has been demonstrated in multiple studies.
4) Women seek about a 50/50 ratio of looks to brains, where as men seek about a 70/30 ratio of looks to brains. So in this UK study, that second guy looks like the brainy worker type, where as the first guy looks like the guy who is always in the gym but doesn't make much money
Lastly as much as I hate to break it to fit, the study does show some truth, women really don't care THAT much about how fit a guy is.
However, fitness contributes to shoulder/hip ratio, skin condition, and facial asthetics, which are all things that women do pick up on.
Lastly, I post this all the time and it is true. The 3 guys who I have known that I would call, "naturals", guys that could easily pick up women in most situations. All 3 guys were out of shape. They weren't fat, and they were tall, but they were fuckin out of shape. The common thing with all 3 guys is that they had hella balls, and thought any woman in any situation could be gotten. That's the key.
