Genetics has a massive influence on age limits. There have been top tier Olympian's who died in their 40s, and people like Churchill who drank and smoke daily live to 90+
That being said, from a TED talk I heard, long term studies show that your genes can change over time pending your habits, meaning the limitations genes place can be overcome.

Cell division doesn't actually stop for a VERY long time so you could go on for 100 years easy. Just don't expect to be nearly as limber or pain free.

I suspect without disease living past 100 would more common than not. The "external factors" are gamechangers. I don't have data but death certificates come across my desk and the death in virtually all of them is attributed to some disease.
