I do plenty of low reps myself

but it's a fact that you're much more likely to injure yourself doing a max set of 3 over a max set of 10, because the loading is just that much higher.

it could almost be compared to, how it's more likely to hurt yourself doing a quarter squat over a full squat. you can use less weight on a full squat, so it's overall less loading on the body, less chance of injury.

First time I deadlifted I pulled 495lbs x 3 when I was 16 yrs old. You don't need to DL, Free Squat or Barbell bench to get strong at those lifts. The strongest lifters in the world only perform the big 3 in meets, they do other shit in training.

I know that they are strong. Some of them could probably be pretty good powerlifters even without steroids or multiply suits. Same thing with singleply, they need to be strong to use the gear correctly. But there is no competition in multiply lifting and that's why Westside thrives on stupid training ideas

I've gotten 2 injuries while weightlifting. And they've both been during my warm up sets. I contribute those injuries to having a poor mobility and dynamic stretching preworkout and not properly evaluating my CNS. By the time I get to my heavy sets, I know I'm good to go because I passed the warm up sets.
