I'm a female and I been going to gym for like 4 years. I don't even have an actual routine, but I hit the gym 6 times a week no exceptions. I do basic lifts and heavy stuff in the beginning (like dips for triceps, pull ups for back and biceps, squats for legs, dead lifts, t-row, bench press for chest) and then add different variations of exercises, such as scull crushers, flys, incline bp, front squat, leg press, push ups etc. I work out core 3-4 times a week, I do HIIT (sprints) 3 times a week one being either running stairs or uphill.

Reps varies quite a lot, sometimes I lift shorter sets and bigger weights, do some 6x6 but usually 8-12 and 4-5 sets. What I like to do with leg press is 10x10 sets.

Then I go running on rest days and on other days possibly too if I feel like it, 2-4 in average. Stretching, foam rolling, sauna and cold showers (lol) daily.

And I actually wake up at 6 or 7 every morning and head to the gym. My diet consists of oats, milk, soy milk, cottage cheese, quark, broccoli, brown rice, eggs, salmon, minced meat, beans, spinach, carrot, bananas, frozen berries, different nuts and seeds and linseed and coconut oil. I think that's pretty much it. I also take vitamin D (inb4 dick), ZMA, theanine, ginseng and PWO-shit as well as protein shake every now and then.

I don't know what do you mean by xfit.

The reason why I hit the gym early is cause it fits my daily routines so well. Get up, PWO+caffeine, hit the gym, take a shower, get dressed and put on some makeup, head back home and eat a proper breggie. Then I'm ready to go to uni or library and study. I don't have to stress about working out if I'm tired in the evening and there's pretty much no one at the gym at 6am which is nice cause there's plenty of room and racks and barbels are all free to use.

I'm perky in the mornings but pretty tired in the evenings. I used to go to the gym at 9pm but once I discovered the joys or morning workouts, there's no turning back.

I don't believe in "having a goal body." Everyone's body is different and the only possible goal should to be the best version of one's self. Not trying to be corny here, but what I mean is that no one should stare at someone else's picture and have that as a goal.

I don't think that I ever wanna compete, bikini fitness is not my piece of cake. I spend so much time doing sports cause I used to compete in my own sport and I grew up doing a range of different sports, so when I quit, I had to fill the empty hole with something and gym training was a logical option. I've played everything from football to tennis during my younger years and I'd say I was pretty talented, my father is a former professional athlete so I had the genes; both physically and mentally. Just kinda sucks that I was born as a woman, cause no one is interested or really appreciates female athletes. '

So I guess I don't have an end game, just trying to improve my self and lifts and feel good about what I do. My studies are pretty demanding so gym is such a great way to balance that and clear my mind. I just do this cause I love what I do, and if I do something, I better put some serious effort in it and do it well.

My routine is 25-30 min running, 4 exercises for upper body toning + 4 exercises for lower body strength.
IDK I started going to the gym two years ago because I wanted to just burn all that excess energy I had, kept it up mostly because it makes me feel good. There's an added bonus to having defined muscles, better legs, a flat stomach, but I'll always find something to feel shit about so I just try to find exercises that are fun for me to do rather than going for a goal body.

As for fit husbando, idk my boyfriend is skinny fat but with a good chest and nice legs, I really dig that. I love that he makes me feel tiny because he's tall and broad.

This is what I'm making my gf do

yoga mwf (being sent in hopes of finding a partner for 3some/so she can make a friend )
whatever I'm doing but way lighter and more reps with more focus on booty
cardio for 20-30 mins daily

She's done the gym thing before and given up after about a month. How do I keep her going longer? I think the yoga will help because there's more grills there

I didn't mind her giving up in the past, but this time she's legit chubby and the belly is starting to turn me off. Pretty high test ratios though.

I work as a personal trainer, most female client's routines for their goals ("tone up" being the most common):

As a caveat, i taught her the big four lifts and made her a stripped routine. Lifting just isn't her thing.

ES's stuff just looks like plyometrics and some cardio. It'd be a shame for her to pay for that BS, but i'm in for anything that motivates her to work out.

I'm doing Strong Curves 3x week, so lots of hip thrusts, squats, lunges and deadlifts with some core and upper body work. I go to the gym at 6am so that I can be at work by 7:30am (clinical dietitian). On off days I run. I've been lifting for about 4 months, used to swim 3x week but I don't have access to a decent pool anymore.
I don't have a fit husbando. My fianceé is a little chubby but he's starting with lifting too.

I would only do ass, quads, hamstrings and calves. The rest would be cardio and a bit of abs. Also a little lower back.
