I used to box for a few years. It was a fun hobby, I only ever hit the ring twice. I won both times, but it was pretty low level. I got out of it because I started taking my university pretty seriously and I had a hard time making weight training and boxing training work in my schedule while studying hard.

I plan on starting myself in the spring. I think I'm going to to cut down lifting to 2x/week and the rest of the time dedicated to skill,conditioning/cardio so that I have time to perform well in college too. Thankfully Nursing isn't that difficult. Do you mind sharing what you're training schedule was like?

You need to train everyday you need to work hard every day until you hit the ground gasping for air squats and alot of beating that bag outside pushups and a ton of running I am poor so i do alot of "home workouts" and a ton of things like ido porta!
