rate my macros /fit/
just starting lifting so ive heard I can gain muscle and lose fat at the same time for a while.
scooby says 30% of kcals should be protons, but ive heard youre supposed to eat 1*body weight in lbs. Which should I go with?
Also, is a lower carb % good for losing fat so I dont have any unused carbs stored as fats?

kek, it's more like 1.5g protein of kg body mass

1.5x is perfect.
Also, you need less carbs and more fat, unless you're doing a ridiculous amount of cardio.
I'd say go 30% proteins, 35%/35% carbs and fat

can i get a second opinion on this?
also you again, you said 1.5*kg for protein but then also said 30%. Does that mean you think I should decrease my daily caloric intake until 30% = 1.5*kg?
b-bump?

1g/lbs is fine. It's already a little more than you actually require, but it's a nice round number, so it's easy to remember. It's fine if you get more than that.
If you're not vegetarian/vegan chances are you'll be getting more easily anyway.
Just chill bro, whether you go by 1g/lbs or 1.5g/lbs or 30% doesn't matter as much as you think.
>225g protein at that bodyweight
What the fuck are you doing pham

have fun being fat familiar

See, 30% is 1.5g per kg for me because I'm slightly larger and on a cut.
My brother has 2g per kg because he's even bigger than me.
Just stick to 30% and you'll be fine. The main thing is to cut back and carbs, and stop being afraid of fats.

Sorry, thats not what scooby sez. Scooby never uses maxros, he sets protein based on bodyweight ... As it should be
