ive been doing SS for 4 months and its going pretty well + i am making sick lowerbody gains

but... my upperbody is not so good. terrible in fact.

What would happen if i did SS but switched squats and bench so that I bench every workout and only squat on alternate workouts? would that cure my T-Rexism?

Honestly OP, if your deadlift is a good deal higher than your squat, its time to switch routines. Most likely the Texas method

I take it you've been lifting less than a year? Your legs are going to explode in size the first few months (in comparison to the rest of your body). Your upper body gains come much slower no matter your routine and the fastest way to gain size as a natural is, surprise, by getting stronger.

Continue on with SS, do your dips, chin-ups, curls, pull-ups, rows and just seriously focus on hitting 1/2/3/4 on your compounds. YOU WILL GET BIG.

Just do a standard PPL.
You're going to need to work your legs every now and then, they have a lot of muscle in them. Ignoring them will hinder all progress.

Yes, one is a pull the other a push. You want to balance that as much as possible.

Also, your triceps make up more of your arm musculature than people think, something like 2/3's. If you want big arms it's not just your biceps you want to work, dips will do more for big arms, strong shoulder girdle and upper back than just about anything.

You could even consider adding in curls and skullcrushers if you don't think chins and dips aren't enough. But they really should be.

It depends on how your bench is progressing. If your bench is going up just fine do them on OHP day for more pec frequency, if your bench is stalling because you're not getting enough volume, do them on bench day. If your bench is stalling because you're under-recovering, drop them altogether (or do 1*F) and eat more.
