grains are okay if they're not bleached or GMO'd

This right here.
If you consume a significant portion of your calories from grains, starches, or sugars of any kind I can safely assume you don't care about your health
Right now I'm sitting here eating bread talking to my gf and I'm on /fit/

so what do you eat then? sounds like a paleo diet to me
>>35373389
activated almonds for me baby, all day
>>35373389
Kinda sorta. My diet consists of mainly fatty meat and often of green veggies with very little sugar if I decide to eat them bur their caloric value/nutrients I can absorb from them are so small I don't go out of my way to include them in every meal.

Kinda.
Meat, fish, dairy, eggs
Fruit, veg
Potatoes (in moderation, but i need some 'proper' carbs, keto is intolerable)
Nuts
Legumes (also in moderation. The same research that says grains are harmful say legumes might also be harmful in a similar way)

I have celiac disease. But it went under the radar until recently because i never exhibited gastrointestinal problems. Instead, it manifested on my skin (dermatitis herpertiformis, as i eventually figures out) for the past 15 years, and as ENT problems (ear aches, blocked ears, itchy ears, blocked sinuses, constant spit/mucus flow, sneezing. Year round 'allergies') for the past 10. Finally figured it out myself, and am now healing my gut after i had my skin biopsy this week (had to keep poisoning myself until then). I should get the results within 6 weeks but I'm 99.9% sure it'll be positive.
So although the typical line is 'unless you have celiac, grains are fine', how many more people have it but don't realise it yet? How many more ways does it manifest in that no one knows about yet? This new paleo theory reckons if it's poisonous to some of us it's probably poisonous to all of us. That some may be resisting the damage better doesn't mean there isn't still damage going on. And I'm inclined to agree. I think we should regard grains as guilty until proven innocent.

nice memes, buy real bread with less than 5 ingredients and 100% whole wheat and it's pure healthyness.
>>35371963
What's wrong with bread? I usually get Rotella's whole wheat multi-grain kind. 10g of protein every two slices.

What should I eat, then? Grains make up a significant part of my calories, pasta and oats and whatnot.
