She got me straps too, which is rad. My gym actually has straps for people to use but it's cool to have my own, especially for once I get a home gym set up Plus these straps are really rigid and padded (i'dk if that's good but they'll work and are comfy).

yeah i've had lifting gloves before. i won't sit here and bitch about them because they were a gift from my brother but the only time i make use of them is during long sets of pull ups or leg raises or something, otherwise the hard knurling of my pull up bar digs right into my fingers.
