If I was taking 5g creapure creatine a day, then went down to 3 grams for a while would my weight go down?
I have been on 5g for a while. Had a day of lower calories and low creatine before Christmas today and today my weight was 138.6lbs rather than 139.6lbs. I am a skelly runner bulking so every pound matters to me really.
For reference my scale does bodyfat aswell and I was 139.6 11% yesterday and 138.4 11% today.
Normally if I just ate later than normal or had something more greasy that balloons the weight up a bit the Bmi and bodyfat percentage goes up , it didn't do that today which leads me to believe it's to do with water weight and creatine stores

I did this exactly for cutting. Usually took 5g a day and now I'm only taking 3g. I don't think my weight went down noticeably due to the creatine.
What you lost is probably just water because you ate less carbs.
Also if you measure your bf with your scale it's not accurate at all.

I know that measuring bf with those scales isn't really accurate, but at least I can see if it's going up/down as time goes on. Been bulking 3 months and went from it saying 10% to 8lbs heavier and it now says 11% . My skin fold calliper also puts me at 11% so I think mines pretty alright

Yep. Used to take it gave me alot of water wait I haven't taken it in like 6 months. One of the best decisions ever made. People say used creatine to get you up the ladder fast then stop. But I wouldn't recommend it.
