>be me
>lifting for a little over two years
>torn bicep and strained hip flexor holding me back
>too stubborn to let heal properly
Yes I know I'm retarded, but I'm too obsessed with training to rehab.
>take six month hiatus to allow overdue healing
>train only cardio (MT conditioning) and yoga
Now I'm lifting again (1.5 months back and lifts are nearly where they were when I left) and my body feels so different. My balance, my flexibility, my mobility, my back... Every aspect of my body feels better and I have only yoga to thank. I don't think it'll have any notable short-term impact on my total going up, but I feel no more tightness, bulkiness, anything like that.
What yoga did you do OP. Heard only good things about it. Any specific routine or set of poses that you can do at home? Not that keen to do it with an instructor and other people.

I'm actually thinking of doing yoga. I've got a couple injuries (shoulder and knee mostly, and now a new toe injury) that won't go away. Been wondering if yoga would help them, maybe increased flexibility could help them not suck.
Also I just moved to a new city, don't know anybody here. Met some dudes but having a really hard time meeting girls. Hoping yoga would be a good place to meet healthy chicks.
Started going to hot yoga on off days 2-3x a week about a year ago. Started for "flexibility" & to hopefully help a prior knee injury.
Ended up continuing just for them mindfulness gains. I haven't been in a few months though :( Should probably start up again.

I just followed a couple videos online. Started with these two

Those are both from the same bitch. Not shilling, just liked those two and stuck with them because my main issue was my hip flexor being a piece of shit.
Currently been working on these

This is attempting to do the splits.

Crane pose. Pic related. Its stupid hard. Don't see how either would help with lifting, but I enjoy yoga now, so why not keep progressing?

I never did any classes. I'm not very serious about it at all, and I doubt it'd be that much better than learning online unless you wanted to learn how to meditate and shit.

can you fap to the online videos? If so then yeah going to a real class to meet chicks would be redundant.
