You're a fool if you think these guys are ottermode or that a typical male could look like these guys.

Ottermode is basically average muscle (or perhaps less) with low body fat.

These guys have significantly more muscle than ottermode.
The guys have very long torsos, very long arms, very large ribcages, very broad shoulders. They are also very tall. It is bone.

I achieved that by not eating and not training

No. People with natural v-shape will succeed in swimming, the sports itself will not help with body transformation that much.

Swimming does not build significant muscle mass. A "swimmers body" is not achieved by swimming, but by regularly going to the gym.

Do the opposite of what he's saying.

Started off as a skinny fat 5 years ago when I decided to try swimming in high school. Picked it up really fast, I was really good at butterfly naturally because I was strong. Now I'm a division 1 swimmer at college and I'm still making pretty good gains. All that cardio makes it hard to keep getting bigger after you reach a certain weight.

Whats your distance average? What do you eat? Have you seen anyone with a similar body who only swims 2-3 times a week?
I used to swim for 11 years, stopped for a few and would like to add it to my routine because it got me in great shape once before. But I don't see myself doing more then 2000M 3 times a week at like a 1:15-1:30 100. So I wonder if I should lower my gains expectation.

>>35329394
I don't swim backstroke. But my 50 yard butterfly time is 21.6. My 50 meter long course butterfly is 24.8

I wouldn't expect to have a swimmers body swimming 2-3 times a week. I'm thinking at LEAST 5 times a week, but you won't have a body worth bragging about unless you're lifting 3-4 times a week on top of that.

Basically I eat as much as I can get in the priority of carbs >= protein > healthy fats. I also supplement protein, BCAAs, creatine around competition, fish oil, and multivitamin.

My training schedule is 5.5-8k, mostly aerobic but ~2k is anaerobic, 9 times a week. Lift 4 times a week (strength oriented tho). I train very hard, however my teammates follow this routine and not everyone's physique is necessarily impressive. If you want to look good I recommend swimming 1-2k aerobic to warm up real good, the probably about 1k of good sprinting on interval based sets. Obviously as you improve you can get it more sprinting for more gains

At elite levels, the sport selects for a body type: broad shoulders, V-taper, large hands/feet, long torso, short legs, etc.

Swimmers don't get the "swimmer's body" from training. They are swimmers because they were gifted with a swimmer's body. Genetics.

By not swimming

Lift heavy weights and do steroids. Like literally every professional athlete you've heard of.
