What if you activate your nuts?
I'm a big fan of alternating hot/cold after working out. The gym at the uni where I'm doing my graduate work has a sauna, so I'll go in the sauna for a few minutes after running in the cold to warm up before a lift. Then I'll lift, come back down and hit the sauna again, pop out for a short shower in freezing cold water, back in the sauna for a minute, then freezing cold shower again, then normal shower to actually wash. Just a minute or two in each, it's not time consuming, so worth it thought.
