I played in bands for a long time, so my "male companionship" was through band practices and shit, but I wouldn't call it friendship really. 8 years on and my gf and I broke up and now I sit at home with my cat in my new studio apt, lift a bunch of weights and spend hours searching for gurls to talk to on the internet. Became an extrovert by doing a shitton of ectasy. Was an anxious introvert before, going to the store and public transport was really hard for me. Now i need to see people all the time and get depressed when i'm by myself for a long time.
I'm like 50/50. Like I don't go out of my way to engage someone in conversation, but I can hold a conversation with anyone and no longer hate people or have social anxiety. Baby steps.

I'm about to hit 20 and the same thing happened to me last year. It's strange and I still have my private moments but being extroverted is easy. It's getting your brain and your mouth to connect that's the hard part.
