My back from 6.5 months of Greyskull LP, basically the same program as SS but with chins ups instead of cleans and the last set is always 5+.

I'm of russian/lithuanian descent, so I eat a lot of food from those countries (like twarog and buckwheat), but generally just eat normal stuff, like pork, beef, chicken, salmon, milk, porridge, eggs, bananas, wheat bread, brown rice, etc. Sometimes binge on complete crap, like chocolate and cakes. Basically, I eat anything, and just try to aim for 170-200 grams of protein every day.

5+ means you should hit your 5 regular reps and do more reps if you can. Though once you start getting to the end of your novice gains, it becomes nearly impossible to do more than 5.
