If you don't think this works, go to someone's Instagram whose height you know and try to extrapolate their height. I regularly do this with people holding smartphones or even wearing an Inzer lever belt, and it's extremely accurate.
I found Alex Kang's height based on the known height of his lever belt, then compared the experimental height to the delta between Frank Yang and his height in a picture they took together.
Frank was over half a head taller, about 6 inches taller, which meant that Alex Kang is only 5'2", which lined up with my extrapolation from his 3" tall Inzer Belt.
