For me the issue was that I still had pics of some old exes and I was getting to the point where I wanted different stuff often. But I pass up on a lot of girls that are quality I think because I've been holding onto the idea of how my exes were by still jerking to them once a week or so.

As I said, I had no choice. I didn't plan to but quitting porn outright totally killed my dick. I think I probably benefited from abstaining from it from a while but it took me watching porn to essentially shock my dick into action. That porn fap a few days ago was like a defibrillator for my dead dick. Now back to regular function. It's an old habit from those of us who remember 56k era modems (or earlier).
For those of us who had to wait minutes for a single picture to load cable Internet was a revelation and lead to hoarding.

Not OP, but a while back, my stash was 60+G easy. Like 20 of them were in 1080p/720p (Hegre Art massage stuff, the goodest shit afaic). The other were 480p at most, and pretty sure I almost reached 150 videos total. I only saved the ones that guarantee diamond status on my dick (although to be fair, that status depends on my "current fap fetish appetite") for quick access when I don't have time to stream (internet is slow and connection is unreliable, so I use IDM).
Still, that was still me being way too prude on my collecting habit. If it was up to me, I'd probably have separate hard drives just for fap stuff.
