Is standing around in the front squat position with a lot of weight an acceptable core exercise?
It kind of feels like doing the plank.
Its common among olympic lifters

Oh what the fuck, I can't keep my back straight properly when doing this, I keep falling back. Is placing something like this underneath the heels an acceptable temporary solution?

1 arm heavy dumbbell hold (or even shrug) is the best squat/dl stability exercise
couple it with abwheel rollouts and you doln't need anything else

How do the green plates stay on?
>>35260636
Magnets. Expensive competition bumpers use magnets and/or high-friction coatings.

>Magnets
how is a tiny ass magnet holding a heavy ass plate lol

>magnets
How do they work?
>>35260591
Yeah, go ahead. Just make sure you stop using it eventually.

Did you not see the end of the video? They fell off and there was a little stub of bar sticking out of the last blue.

Yes
Currently I'm at 250kg for 30s and the core/upper back gains are noticeable.

I'll try, thanks.

Fuck off Elias

Do you do this before or after a workout

Cross grip brings your shoulders forward and compromises your lower back.
It's a lot more stable/easier in a clean position.

During the workout. That's why I go to the gym.
