For christmas I think I want some lifting shoes.
What should I look for? Can anyone recommend a pair in particular?

Get those
fuckin want some adipowers but shit is expensive any cheaper alternatives?
bump for interest
What are your lifts? Big P is gonna have a day with u in the boneyard...
Been thinking the same lately. Are the Power Perfect 2 any good?
>>35248897
Start with the adidas powerlifter 2.0 and see if you like it or not. I used them for awhile but then decided I liked chucks better.
If you don't like them then you're only set back 65$ instead of 170$

>What should I look for
incompressible sole
>fuckin want some adipowers but shit is expensive any cheaper alternatives?
Power perfect 2.0 are a good alternative. you can get them for $70 when coupled with the 40% adidas has every once in a while. Adipowers are usually never on sale these days

Those are looking pretty cool, but I prefer the reebok crossfit
I have OP pic. Love them.
>2015
>not lifting with converse
What's the benefit over just taking your shoes off?
>>35250425
no one can steal them

>>35248897
Lifting Shoes? Come on op do you really think you fucking need those?
>>35248897
I run about 25 miles a week and I've had the same running shoes for a very fucking long time now .
I'm getting pic related tommorw , It's a late birthday present.
>Nike Air monarch.

>>35248897

>>35249070
Adidas power perfect 2's are much cheaper and are really good
>>35250101
Yes
>>35250144
Not a particularly fantastic shoe, serviceable and cheap, but not great
>>35250297
Memeshoes, might as well lift barefoot
>>35250579
wlshoes.com they are pretty good if you squat often
Go to wlshoes.com for reviews and shit before buying
>>35250608
No this shoe isn't good for running, it's not even a running shoe... Are you trolling?
>>35250639
This is best tO be honest
>>35250663
crossfit shoes are just lifting shoes with a bit more emphasis on movement but hey man get angry at shit you don't understand that totally ok.
>>35250746
>>35250639
>lifting barefooted at the gym
>letting your skin get in contact with the nasty gym floor
>enjoying ringworm
>>35250608
.. Dad?
>>35250104
>i liked chucks better
powerlifting shoes =/= weightlifting shoes.
you cannot do weightlifting in chucks.
only bodybuilding and powerlifting type stuff
>>35250763
>not being homegym masterrace
>>35250738
it said online they are ok for running.
wth
>>35250843
What shitty website do you visit? Just check the official site if you don't believe me.
Honestly have you ever seen a running shoe? This is a training shoe, it can be used for lifting and indoor sports (soccer, etc.)
>>35250903
will these shoes fuck me up if I go running
>>35248897
What do you guys think about these bad boys?
>>35248897
I might buy a pair of the reebok cross-fit shoes to lift in. I don't do crossfit, but I'm active at the gym, so they seem like a good investment.
>>35250903
are they an improvement to my current running shoe ?
>>35250955
Probably not.
But you asked if they were good.
They are not.
They are also not six inch stilettos. So cry less about your poor taste and sense of quality, and enjoy your retard looking shoes.
Seriously
>potato as fuck footwear.
>>35249070
I would wait around. I got my adipowers for 115 off amazon, my gf got hers for 96 off amazon. They go on sale pretty regularly. Better than getting the powerlifts for 70, imo.
>>35251059
I didn't have a choice you dick head , I'm receiving these as a present or did you miss that part because your an idiot ?
>>35250955
If you run 25miles / week then most likely yes.
>>35250975
They look good. I'm not sure exactly which model this is but I think it would be a good running shoe. Make sure they fit well.
>>35251020
Nice b8
>>35251020
Yes, in that they're not completely shot from overuse; no, in that they're terrible fucking shoes for running.
Look, don't just pick a pair of shoes out based on looks or reviews for running - go to a store that specifically caters to runners (think Fleet Feet or Roadrunner). The best ones will videotape you jogging, test you for pronation, and help pick shoes based on those factors.
If you're serious about running and not getting injured, then you need to get shoes that fit your running style and body. Anything else is a crapshoot.
Also, if you're running regularly, you should be replacing your shoes every 6 months or so.
I got a pair of powerlift 2s a few months ago, couldn't be happier. Not too expensive (they were about £65-£70) and they've really helped with squats. I use them for everything except diddlifts and rdls.strangely enough they seem to help my bench to a small degree and help my pendlay row by moving my body further over the bar.

>being autistic
>not just wearing a good pair of sneakers
I bet you wear altitude masks too
Dumb question but when ordering shoes online from say Rogue Fitness, they have a Quantity to order. Does ordering 1 give you one pair of shoes or a single shoe?
>>35251414
Breh.....
>>35251414
2 shoes is one pair
>>35251414
Really man? I'm retarded and I am capable of telling you the answer.
