If Dana wants to give it some time, he can let Chad get his rematch against Aldo and keep Aldo relevant for the rematch against Conor if he wins, and Frankie gets to fight either Aldo or Mendez after the Conor fight. the problem with a rematch is that aldo doesn't ever show up and fight. he's probably the most inactive champion there's ever been. his prior fight against chad mendes was october 2014 - that's 16 months ago. and honestly, rematches are not for when you get knocked out cold like that, not to mention mcgregor is now the champion and he will have the upper hand deciding what's next. sure thing is he will be far more active than jose aldo ever was and he is far more willing to make super fights happen - so this is an excellent day for mma.
