Is there any tasty bulking food I can make at home and that will survive 8 - 9 hours in a backpack?

I have a really tight schedule at uni (10-19 erryday) and can't really eat out anywhere.

I just bring a bag of scoops and a tub of quinoa. Quinoa tastes good at any temperature

Eat the oatz and drink the milk. If you have to take on a trail where there's no water or electricity then you could make your own energy bars or eat dried meat (jerky, salami, etc...).

nono I'm not retired, I was just asking about how I can actually carry food in my sweaty bag for 8 hours, provided no fridges

Forgot to put on auto update

It depends on the food, tupperware will keep it fresh enough to be just fine after a week of refrigeration, it'll be fine if you take it out of the fridge in the morning and let it heat up to lukewarm over 8 hours, or you know, find a microwave somewhere.

I just wouldn't recommend doing this with fish or any other meats that are known to spoil quickly or odorous foods
