used to work in healthcare, mostly basic care for the elderly, yeah was usefull if one of those +180kg fell and had to be lifted.
Now doing a medical technical study, probably not going to need it annymore, just for good looks, feeling good and to protect the family/girlfriend

I work as an IT consultant at the DoD.

Sounds fancy but half my job is providing tech support for the applications we build.

No need to be /fit/, but it's a very high stress environment so working out helps with the stress.

PT at a pretentious health club, labourer, market stallholder and musician.

I need to be /fit/ only for the PT. Looking and being strong, fit and attractive is an absolute must or people don't trust you. The labour I do is easy so you don't need to be /fit for that at all.

walk 12-15km a day. If anything I would say being fit is a detriment, because a) anyone and their mom can walk 15km (so cardio isnt a massive benefit), and b) my squat thighs always rub together and chaff mad.

ill always wear short-shorts in the summer though and get mad mires.

I have to do some trekking over difficult terrain with approximately 40 pounds of gear, usually about 3-4 days every 2 weeks.
So it requires a bare minimum fitness level, but that's it. I like it though. It's a fun job, I live in a smaller city and most of my field work is fairly remote.

no degree, did a course in personal training, cost me a rather steep 3500 quid but its cool cause they pay makes up for it. amazing what rich old fat guys are willing to pay in order for their wives not to cheat on them.

just kidding. its about respecting your clientele, actually being a nice guy and listening to them and being a bro for them (i suspect a lot of them are fairly lonely people looking for a change). plus, i always make sure to do flashy shit with my shirt off for 2 reasons - 1. people see L-sits, weighted pullups, hanging leg raises, handstands, 4plate deadlifts, splits etc and are impressed straight away, thus wanting to be trained by you since the other guys are only seen doing cardio and shit with cables and 2. they have to see you look the part as well, hence the shirt off. its about selling yourself well, so people feel assured that i can promise them these things.

Feed the fire, always work in phrases like " women are only good for cooking, cleaning and makin babies", "now I understand why women make less money" & " A man would have finished that project on time, under budget and with great results" - this keeps them going

I work in a steel factory Repairing coke ovens. Some of my job requires some physical strength like when I have to use a jack hammer or have to carry around material such as 55lb bag of cement or bricks and mortar. Found the NEET underage neck beard. If you knew anything about real life you'll know that working your way to the top is the best way to get paid. If you have to show hard work physically when you first start that is fine if you're trying to move up. Not one of the managers at my Tyson plant has a degree, 100 percent dedication to the company and showing interest that you want to stay and move up will earn you triple figures just as well if not better than a degree.

Work in a warehouse loading heavy ass shit on trucks all day. Pick up a heavy objects, carry it, set it down, repeat.

The good thing about the job is as long as I am working, I don't need to do any cardio, work provides all the cardio I need.

The bad part is that when things are busy I am so beat up that I don't have the energy to lift when I get home from work.
>>
>>35204312

Our work environment is very safety oriented. Like, everyone has a boner for safety. It's almost infuriating until you get used to it.

That said, we tie off 100% of the time. No free climbing, ever, and everyone would freak out if someone else tried it.

>How does it feel having a deadend peasant job?
Not sure about the other guys you're trying to make feel bad, but the guy who works at the post office definitely doesn't have a "peasant" job, if it's anything like the US post office. I have family members who work for the post office and they get damn good pay and have some of the best benefits and retirement I know about. That's a government job dude. Despite what you may think about the government, they take damn good care of all their employees.

As for myself, I'm an education consultant. I basically sit around all day helping families figure out what school would be the best fit for their kids. Sometimes I'll go to family resource centers or schools to promote the organization or have more hands on interaction with parents/families, but the majority of my day is spent sitting on my ass browsing 4chan and watching Youtube videos.

It's a decent gig that only gets buy around February and July (both times when parents are either trying to change schools, or get their kids in a new school for the upcoming school year).

tl;dr
My job has absolutely nothing to do with /fit/, and I work almost exclusively with ham planets and land whales who do nothing but sit on their asses and eat sugary donuts all day.

>Kids are pretty awesome, never have any trouble
>Principal sees how great I did with elementary and makes me lead teacher for the middle school department
>Problems first day
>Couple of assholes decide to test me despite the fact that I'm cool with their parents

>Call him out about it and tell him to knock it off
>Kid gets in my face and tells me to do something about it
>Fucking eye to eye
>Smile and tell him to make the first move since he thinks he's a man
>Kid hopelessly tries to push me, only to have me literally pick him up by his shirt and slam him on a cafeteria table
>Silence falls over the entire middle school class/department as I haul the kid off to the office
>Never got tested again

Shit was crazy. The only reason I threw his ass against the table is because his dad and I were cool in high school and I knew he wouldn't say shit about it. But the kid was 13 and couldn't have been more than 90 lbs wet. Meanwhile I was 31, 5'11 and 220lbs
