Your test levels are set by your teenage years
And your face shape is determined by your test levels
Meaning if you were a skinnyfat lowtest beta in your teens its gonna remain like that all your life until you decide to roid

I'm the young guy of 3 that lift at my job.

The oldest, at 55, is the boss. Dude still does all kind of shit but has to be careful with the weights. Still, the fucker is strong.

I'm not that bad, but the 3rd guy is a beast.

42, and he practically lives at the job. There's a corner on the 3rd floor warehouse area that's his. He keeps a modded rack that has cable attachments, bench, bars, deadlift platform & all up there. Piss him off during the day (as in, wait 10 minutes for the next asinine thing he has to fix in someone else's area), and he jogs up, rips off a few squats or deadlifts, and comes back down.

So, I got curious one day when everyone else started to leave. I asked if I could see this mythical setup. We go up, and it's like some oldschool dungeon gym; bare concrete and no AC. The bar is just sitting there with a trio of 100's on each side.

This guy probably does 40-50 singles or doubles over the course of a day without much warmup. As he told me, I'm used to it.

I used to do something similar. Sure as fuck wasn't with 600 pounds, but I'd leave something loaded on the bar all the time and go in to do a rep or a few whenever I got up to eat, take a piss etc. Usually was 25-30 reps a day. Definitely didn't hurt, cause my deadlift kept going up pretty solidly throughout that time. Made me a lot better at actual work too, since I'd learned a bit of how to just move something heavy when needed.

Exercise is to improve your life, and it will if done within your means and you ignore bullshitters and fitness shillers and focus on the basics first.

You'll be happy with how you feel and how you look and how you function day to day.
If you're hoping to be some super stud/or mega babe in your late 30's by becoming fit then well...
You got a long row to hoe. and that earth is full of rocks. You're going to have to legit bust ass to get there and make some sacrifices. And no, I don't mean hurting yourself with drugs and stupid workouts either.
I mean eating perfectly, upping your activity level, getting sunshine every day, sleeping a full 8 hours, doing workouts that lowers fat and tightens the body and increases strength and endurance...it goes on like that.
It's daunting but you can get relatively fit and good looking with good lifestyle changes and hard smart work.
