Sometimes being a manlet can be an advantage. A lot of athletes are helped by their height as they have to move less weight and are more agile.

Imo it is best to have a lot of people of all shapes and sizes and make life more interesting. I'm not going to be fitting through tiny holes in caves and discovering the remains of our prehistoric ancestors but I love that those people exist.
The one thing I don't like is modern housing generally has much lower ceilings. So back in the 19th century when everyone was manlets they had bloody 10' and above ceilings, and now some places have 7'6" or even a bit lower. Really gets my goat.
