THere will be a bit of muscular development, but not really that much, and no individual muscle will look pumped, but its a good starting place for anyone, and I really think people of all fitness levels should be able to complete a few reps of each simply as a requirement to be a healthy human.

any tips on how to get my pullups and dips up to par? i can do some but not many and i've been using the assist machine, decreasing the weight as much as i can but is there anything else i can be doing?

To piggy back this guy, yea you will build a little muscle but after a bit of time then you'll stop because push ups and pull ups will be to easy.

It's like doing 145 over and over again. You'll gain nothing from it but if u go up to 155 you'll start to see gains. Progressive overload is hard as shit for calisthenics but fun at the same time. It's about the journey familia

easiest to explain using bench press as an example.

1 bench press rep is the combination of the eccentric (up) and concentric (down) movement.

A negative bench press rep is not doing any bench press, you can easily achieve this without going to the gym.
