I just started taking 3.5g (a scoop of Myprotein Creapure) without loading and I probably get an additional 1g from food. I'm kind of testing it for potential cognitive/mental benefits, to be honest.

I recommend more carbs than just a banana. You want to spike your insulin level because the creatine is better absorbed. I usually take 2g with lunch and 2g with dinner. I do fasting in the morning.
