Breakfast is the most important meal of the day m8. At this point, it just seems that you're following some gimmicky thing that states that it helps burn fat better, despite any evidence suggesting so other than the shortened window of time to eat in traditional IF.

try intermittent fasting, i was skeptic about it but eating no calories (or very few calories) in the morning helped me a lot. I was eating 600-700kcals breakfast, nearly half of my daily calories and it was impossible to follow my diet that way. Just try to save as many calories as you can for dinner, then if you are hungry eat them, if not don't, you'll cut way faster.
If you don't want to skip breakfast completely just eat a greek yogurt and drink some tea/a coffee. that's 150-200kcals maximum so you can eat more later in the day. I find it's a very practical way to adjust your diet during a cut, expecially if you are a former fatty like me with no sense of satiety

this is only true in that the meal you eat that BREAKS your FAST is most important.

if you do it right, it isn't unpleasant at all.

you don't feel hungry during the fast, for the same reason you don't feel hungry when you sleep.
the only thing is if your liver glycogen dips, you can get a bit of hunger pangs, which is resolved by eating a bite of fruit.

outside of that black coffee is recommended to blunt appetite, but i don't drink coffee and haven't noticed much of an appetite.

i normally fast for 6-8 waking hours.
it is incredibly easy to do

I've noticed that the later I have my breakfast the less I eat during the day, but now that I have uni classes I usually wake up extra early and prep myself a solid meal(like the one I posted already). I do that mostly because I have fallen for the "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" meme so I try not to skip it or skimp on it. Also my stomach gets noisy in classes if its empty. The semester is nearly over so I'll try and readjust my breakfast pattern.
