Sup /fit/ I've got knee pain that hasn't gone away. I did lunges about 3 weeks ago, and the day after, my knees were sore, I wasn't too concerned. But it's been 2 weeks and they're still sore, they hurt when I run on them, right below the knee cap. Anyone ever gone through this? I'm seeing a doctor this week too.

The biggest fixer for knee pain is looking at your feet. If your feet are pointed straight forward you're fucked.

Not really, I just do a lot of leg press and deadlifts. I do keep my feet pointed out when I leg press though, but keep my feet straight when deadlifting.

You know, the squat isn't just for your quads, there isn't a single part of your body not working when you do a proper squat.
There is literally no better exercise for total body strength, muscle development, and getting that growth hormone released naturally.

We do leg presses, box jumps/lunges/step ups, but we just don't have a dedicated squat rack, so we don't squat with weights.
