I know my goal is achievable natty and that I will need to use to gear.

Everyone says stuff like "you should train for at least 5 years before using steroids" but no one ever gives a convincing reason why.

Imagine a guy who has trained for 10 years total. 5 years naturally and another 5 years enhanced. Then imagine a guy who has trained enhanced for the entire 10 years. Won't the second guy have made far more progress?

OP I knew from the first time I touched a weight I'd only settle for a Schwarzenegger physique like you.
So I could train for 5 years with my natural test (very fucking little) or I could just roid the whole way.
I chose the second option and I looked great after a year.
There were only benefits. Its just testosterone - It doesn't care if you're already big when you start.
Its just a byproduct of the bodybuilding culture. There is no reason not to start on 250mg/week the first day you get in the gym (assuming you know what you're doing)

People always say 'Its a waste you won't know how to train or eat'. Thats bullshit, eating and training is really uncomplicated stuff.

That said, I suspect a lot of that sentiment comes from guys who just want to think that they paid their dues before hopping on the gain train, hence the random "Don't do it until you've been training for X, lift Y, and have a bodyfat percentage of Z."

That's the IDEAL height for aesthetic muscles. It wouldn't hurt to train really hard for the next 2-3 years, 1 lifting is nothing at all.

The main problem with roids is once you try them, there is no going back. You'll always feel like like shit whenever you're OFF roids, so you'll end up roiding for the rest of your life and wake up one day at 43 y-o with a fucked up liver and other health issues

Are you doing it for the girls or what?
If so, just work on being lean and being more social/approaching ladies.

Anyway it's your decision but I think it's retarded to roid after only 1 year.

I think there are 4 potential problems with going that route...

#1 The obvious one. Health issues. You're going to have to be on for the rest of your life or at least for as long as you want to look like this. The more gear you're on and the longer you're on, the greater the side-effects and risks.
I know A LOT of people who're on the juice. Some of them do fine, some of them not so much. I have seen gyno and cystic acne and impotence. Just so you know. There is a risk. Also for more lesser known exotic side-effects such as Alzheimers.

#2 You're focusing too much on the end-goal. If you do not learn to enjoy the journey as much as the destination, I promise you, you WILL lose motivation from time to time. And when motivation goes, so does your gains. Seen it time and time again.

#3 You're relying on the chemicals too much. You never learn to train and eat properly, which means you won't get the full benefit from the gear and will need to take more to get where you want to be. More gear once again means more health issues.

#4 You're young (at least I'm betting you are). You will probably ignore this one, but your priorities and goals are likely to change a bit as you grow older. Right now you may want to be swole as hell, but in 4 years you may not care. Why not start out conservatively, make the gains you can naturally and see how you like it. You will easily make good gains for a couple of years. If you still want to be unaturally big after a couple of years, be my guest and jump on and see how it goes. Start out with a little though to test your tolerance (and avoid stretch marks everywhere).


And then there are all the bullshit reasons that are mostly personal opinions, such as "you're cheating" and shit. It is what it is.
