This complete protein maymay is so retarded, no one should worry about hurr durr cumpl8 protoan unless they are eating just fruits or grain. For example, black beans are not considered "complete" because they lack lysine compared to chicken, but they are superior in threonine etc. The aminoacids lacking in beans are usually found in grains or nuts, but it doesn't even matter, and it's not even needed to eat them at the same time.

I like legumes/pulses but they do have a lot of carbs as well as protein as someone mentioned. And although it's debateable if it is needed, I do always combine them with grains or a complete protein like meat, fish, or dairy. On a cut it means you can't fit a lot of legumes in your diet. But they are a great cheap nutritious food source.

Absorption rate of protein in the human body is 15 g / hour regardless of what you eat you autist, vegetable/vegan sources are pretty slow release (low gi), so you end up absorbing a lot of it. Most of the quick release whey proteins are pissed out since they are digested really quickly and cannot be absorbed (unless your taking insulin) as well. I don't know what the fuck your trying to say in your post, but hope this clears some of the shit up.

*Side Note: if your a natty gym brah, you probz wont even need upwards of 120 -150 g of protein realistically. think about it.

I've never had it myself, but I've found that virtually every bean dish lends itself well to the addition of fatty red meats, so I think just about any red meat would be good.
