Rows vs pulldowns/pull ups
if you had to choose one for back development which do you choose and why.
I know deadlifts are best but after deadlifts which would you choose for back development if you could only pick one.

top kek
maybe for erectors, not for lats
weighted pullups>rows (if we're talking strictly lat hypertrophy)
whats the best overall back exercise?

>not using your lats on deadlift
kek

>using lats on the Deadlift
Just stop

Deadlift. Pullups are the best for lats.
>>35108509
both. I'm seriously not willing to give up either exercise.

But rows are for your rhomboids and that whole area. Why are pull ups and rows being grouped together?

Common knowledge bud. Even young candito knew to activate lats back in 2012

If I could only pick two b/t deadlift, rows, and pullups, I'd choose deadlift and rows.
>>35108554
i know how to use my lats on deadlift
pullups are 10x better for lats than deadlits
even though everybody should still do dl
if you think deads alone are enough for lat growth, you don't have enough experience to post anything finess-related
stay narrow

T bar rows obviously

lol I never said deads alone are enough for lats - way to put words in my mouth.
deads are the best exercise for overall back development, which is what OP is after.
