Some people do insane amounts, try to stay under 300mg per week...

I've always trained at that level, I have heard that it can lower levels. I guess it depends on how much your body can take. That time frame includes sauna and stretching as well.
But it is pretty non-stop training and mostly super sets.

It was a a long dirty bulk. I went from 150 to 210 in about 8 months.

The most important thing is to keep eating. Normally you want to stop when your full, but you've got to keep eating until it physically hurts. Don't wait until you're hungry to eat again, eat as soon as you realize you aren't uncomfortably full.

After a while it gets easier, and you can put away 4000+ calories without much effort.

You'll put on allot of fat, which sucks, but isn't really a problem in the long run. As a skelly all that fat will drop off pretty quick when you stop force feeding yourself.

Looking back at old photo's I'm horrified at how tiny and sickly I look.

You have to treat it like any other training.

Even a couple more bites, or 1/4 of a hamburger is progress. Every little bit helps.
