I am an alchoholic that can bench 275 and deadlift 4 plate. I have been drinking since before i started lifting 2 years ago i openly admit i have a little fat on me, but i am 240 lbs on an empty stomach, and i can start to see abs a little when i am dehydrated.

I go to the 24 hour fitness in a pretty small town. It's the only reasonably priced gym in the area so most people go to it. There are a fair number of people who bench 2pl8. I've never seen someone DL more than me @ 2.5pl8 (in fact the only person I've seen DL 2pl8 was a chick with a belt). I've seen 2 people squat 3pl8 and I've never seen them since. Other than them I sometimes see people squat 2pl8 but none of them achieve proper depth. My lmao1.5pl8 gives my the best squat of those who go regularly

I was so happy when i hit 4 plate dead for the first time, even managed to do it during busy hours. Then not even 3 weeks later there was some guy in there hitting a 5 plate pr. He was nice and everything, but i hate him for setting the bar so high. It will take me a fucking year to catch up to him. It disheartening. Not that i am trying to brag on fit, but i have deloaded on squats a few times to make sure i am hitting atg properly. Recently i went up to 3 by 8 and am making sure i coukdnt possibly get any lower. I am almost back up to 3 plate, and i am fucking stoked about it. I may deload again when i get there and work back up at 3 by 12 just to really make it perfect. I was able to one rep 365 a little over 6 months ago. Maybe i should just man up and shoot for 4 plate with a back brace and knee wraps.

I remember when I first worked up to 3 plates, I was hyped just because it was the heaviest weight I could ever think of moving at the time.

Just resumed training a few months ago after taking a year off. Now at about 3 years of on/off training, started my DL at 200 this time and did 2x8 @ 335 today. I'm a big guy tho, so I'm not really satisified yet (I want to get to at least 1.8BW ideally 2BW)

I just posted the link and the post above yours, but BeeGee isn't shredded. He's 12-14% maybe. At one point when he did bodybuilding as a meat-eater, he was shredded, but not now.
He isn't weak at all, but has knee injuries that prevent him from progressing on squats.

If you compare his bodyweight strength on curls, triceps and overhead pressing, his strength is almost as good as that of Greg O'Gallagher, who has trained for athleticism and strength for a very long time unlike BG.

I've had a pretty bad injury too that prevented me from doing heavy squats for almost a year, but 185 for 3 is still ridiculously weak for someone who has been training for years. He even says in the video that his knee is back to normal, so even though he didn't progress, it's not a rehabilitation exercise either, it's his serious attempt at a 3r max.
